Scotland 2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Loire Blue

This exact car sold on eBay for £7150 on 20May. I suspect it must have some major faults for the buyer not to proceed with purchase. Caveat emptor Thumbs Up

I think this firm shill bid their own stuff so it never gets sold to a punter for less than they want and as I have seen plenty of theirs come back a week later on sale again. First time FFRR owner

I agree ^^

Their prices 'look' attractive but they will ALWAYS make a profit!

Report it to EBay, they’ll get banned for shill bidding. David

I don't think this is shill bidding.

That company allow you to come and look at the car, test drive it and then either continue with the sale or walk away.

There is obviously enough wrong for 5 people to walk away that's all.

I just bought my 3.6 Vogue SE from them.

I think if you're comfortable buying from a 'non retail' type environment, where you can look around a car, find faults and feel comfortable fixing them, they're a decent enough deal. Yes, I think they probably shill the bids up a little to get the car to close to what they paid, or what they want, but if you go with your eyes open it's OK. It still felt cheap enough for me to be able to stand buying bits to make it spot on.

I feel like I got a pretty decent deal, one owner car that was traded into its original dealership and they punted it on to BCA, and this place bought it and punted it on to me. Everything stacks up, yes it has some little niggles (Aircon is dead, a rattle from the passenger door card, usual light rear arch rust) but it seems 'honest' to me. I was under no obligation to take the car, I inspected it pretty thoroughly, took it for a drive and then came back and paid the cash. They suggested I paid a couple of hundred more than they laid out for it all in (fees etc). Whether this is a line, I don't know, but it was bought for very good money.

After looking at some real dogs that were several thousand pounds more expensive, I'm happy with this.

That said, the arse will fall out of it now!

Likewise I've used these guys before on a Shogun a few years ago - i bid it cheaper than any I had seen and when I went to look at it they were perfectly reasonable and allowed me as long as I wanted to check it over - I walked away in the end as there was some transmission noise, but there was never any obligation or pressure to complete the deal.

As someone else said, if you go in with your eyes open - its not for the faint hearted though - you could get a good deal.

These guys are buying direct from BCA - whether its webuyanycars stock not selling at reserve or something like that who knows but they seem to turn over the cars even though a few seem to stick around for a bit. Current Fleet:-
2018 Discovery 5 3.0 HSE
2021 Ford Ranger Wildtrack
2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt 5.0 V8
1993 Defender 90 200TDI Pickup
