So the question is...

If the devaluation of the RR brand continues and Range Rovers become more and more common... what would you buy next ?

2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Fox thanks for posting the link to Autoexpress, I gave up after 49 minutes of trying to download the link to Car magazine over our slow wireless link. Auto-express's link took exactly 21secs to give me the whole page - no links to adware like the Car page was trying to link to. It's interesting when you have a super-slow connection to see exactly what rubbish some websites download to your computer!

Anyway back to topic..................... looks like Evoque meets Audi A1 meets Polo meets Citroen DS with all those car's styling hints in it. If LR get it right I'm sure it will sell by the shedload. Unfortunately LR's poor reliability record will put off most buyers down in the small car sector - BMW have got away with high mini prices because it has the desirability of the BMW brand behind it and they engineered it properly before launching it - something LR is not good at, even with premium brands in their stable. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Defender 130, that way I can keep sufficent spares on board keep it going Thumbs Up

My 110 is getting a 21st Birthday treat, some welding and new brake lines. I'd like to stick a TD5 in but as its a toy / DIY truck its more likely to get a 200tdi and some veg oil therapy. Whistle 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

To be honest I would keep the FFRR. Land Rovers in general are becoming common as muck, and to be honest all others are common as well. I could get a CR-V but then theres a lot of them about, the same with Ford Kuga, Discovery, Toureg etc. But if I had to like bigl322 says a Q7 would be my first choice, then maybe an X6... or even a DBS.

I think the reason is that Jaguar and Land Rover are still seen by most people to be BRITISH cars, forgetting that most of the Japanese marques and Vauxhall are also "British" cars being built in the UK - people no longer see Ford as British as most are made in Belgium or Germany. It still counts for a lot with many people that they think the own a British car even though many of the components are made overseas. The choice of traditional marque names that have that cache is shrinking too. Mini is seen to be a BMW by a lot of people and my mother was very surprised to find her Honda Civic was built in the UK -she thought all Hondas come from Japan! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I'm sure they are, I don't think they have a choice, they have to lower the average CO2 emissions across their model Range to meet stupid arbitrary EU targets! Rolling Eyes Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Strange I was about to say the same but opposite! They do look like theyre off a CSL and look a bit odd on this car (possibly not chunky enough?) IMO.
