Looks like a nice project - seems to be in reasonable condition from the photos |

Forget the running gear, I want to see every inch of that interior triple stitched. |

50th Defenders (in fact, all UK spec 50th models) were Atlantis Blue, which looked green. Can’t imagine LR would have painted an RRC in that colour 4 years before the 50th’s were launched |

There's an excellent and long-running thread on PIstonheads, Craig, with several people who really know their stuff on these. Helped me out immensely when I had mine, and it's not populated with the usual argumentative types either. Recommended

Thanks cappo, could you forward me a link please? I’ve never seen a Classic in this colour so would love to research it further...

Small amount on NS inner wing and a couple of patches in the boot floor, apart from that, very little indeed |

Afternoon Craig, Looks a nice one that. I too used to have one extremely similar to that, M reg 94 I think it was. Very comfortable, very capable at everything you ask of it. One of the worst rust spots I remember was just inside the rear doors near the seatbelt mounts. Had LPG on mine. Also developed fault in the wiring loom resulting in complete lack of power from the battery, turned out to be a multi connector behind the glove box. Ive got a owners manual somewhere if you need one for the price of postage. |

Wouldn’t it have chrome bumpers if it was a 25th anniversary model ? Stephen Gazard

It should yes and a commemorative badge on the wings and I think a brown interior. But lots of these things could have been changed over the years. Sadly for Craig I don't think it probably is. |
