Looks very odd, probably best to avoid.

Had an issue on my FFRR which had a sudden increase in mileage and then a dip on the HPI record, but turns out it was just some dopey MoT tester put down the Kilometre reading rather than Miles at one MoT, easy explained to buyers luckily as the rest of the record was straight as a die. David

Possibly a "dot" on the mileage indicator - replacement instrument binnacle?

or Reg change of car (not sure how DLVA copes with that ?) .

Don’t think it’s plate related, as system managed ok when I swapped plates. Must work on VIN I think..... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Even if that were true, still doesn't explain why the mileage went backwards twice 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

I thought the mileage was stored on an ECU rather than the instrument cluster, so may have had different ECU or whatever.

Plate change makes no difference at all, a cheap HPI check will show any plate changes (my FL2 has had three before me!) all traceable. David
