as the question says where do the LRE vehicles go to after L/R have finished with them , do they take all the gear off them and sell them on onto no6 Range Rover

I was told they are NEVER sold on and are crushed as they wouldn't want the warranty claims, which seems odd when you consider you can buy the G4 vehicles.... Discovery 4 HSE

Why not well maintained and only been doing what they were built for

I hate the LR ads that state never been off road

I was not aware much, if any, extra stuff is put on them - the vogue se I drove had 19" instead of 20" but that was it. The cars are moved on before 6000miles and I fully suspect are sold on as land rover cars..."yes sir, most likely a management car or dealer demo - one careful owner!"

they are offered to dealers to retail out. Several of the LRE instructors have also just bought vehicles including fully equipped G4 Discoveries for huge savings off what it would cost to equip to that spec.

I looked at buying an exdemo LR "management" vehicle via a main agent several years ago. Whilst the vehicles could only be described as absolutely immaculate - they all had new wheels and tyres, and any damage rectified - but the chassis was full of mud.

My car was first owned by Land Rover Managment Vehicles, and despite high miles for its age (2 yrs old 42,000 miles) it was pretty immaculate throughout. Discovery 4 HSE

Not all of em are silver

They go into the dealer network via closed auction or LR's own distribution system.

Dealers should declare as to the LRE origins.

It is all down to where they have been used. They now arrive at dealers un-prepped but this is reflected in the price. It's then down to dealers to sort and prep
