It’s extremely rare to come across another Aintree Green one, even if it is a favourite with Prince Philip and Queenie. It’s such a shame that it’s discontinued

I thought long and hard before putting the badges on. But I love the historic significance of them; new old stock from the very early 70’s, the thick end of 50 years old, virtually hand made from chrome plated brass from (arguably) the spiritual road going predecessors of the RR Classic - The P5B (especially) and P6B Rovers. They were almost certainly made by https://fattorini.co.uk/ (well worth looking at their site). Fattorini were also a customer of my dad’s in the last 1950’s, so there’s definitely a story there Halfords tack they aren’t! |
