I'm trying to find out details of the latest version of the Land Rover vehicle tracking system - as would be fitted to my new MY11 TDV8 4.4 (due early march)

Need the info for my insurers.

And the land rover website....is not great tbh.

Anyone got this info or a link?

Hi Tom, I was doing a little digging into this myself so here's a bit more info:

HARDWARE

The Land Rover Watch hardware is supplied through Caterpillar in the normal manner. The relevant part numbers and list prices are as follows:

Land Rover Watch Advanced ECU – part number VPLDV0016 (previously LR003080), for customers who require the Cat5 approved system. The ECU incorporates the Automatic Driver Recognition Module. Driver Recognition tags are ordered separately.

OR


Land Rover Watch Standard ECU – part number LR 003082, for those customers who do not require the Cat5 approved system. The ECU does not incorporate the Automatic Driver Recognition Module. No Driver Recognition tags are included


A vehicle-specific installation kit incorporating the necessary harness, brackets, fixings, antennas, Remote Immobilisation relay module and User Guide. Part numbers are:-

I checked with the people (cobra) who provide the tracker for one of our other cars, but they ignored me, so they've lost the gig.

So probably gonna go with the one offered by my LR dealer, it's the 'locate' one here:
