Tame? Not sure I'd want to push slope or side angles any further!

Where would one find something 'un tame' or do I mean wild? Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Ah Verydisco a picture speaks a thousand words! oddly you got a special mention to the Instructor as there was a very orange 322 in the car park -- so he had to see the photos of your beast Wink

Or apparently not!!!

This was my birthday present from SWMBO, it's her 'fault' that you have photos to look at, think yourself lucky -- I only posted a 'few'

Anyway, to answer your questions -- I wanted to go to learn about the systems from the 'experts' -- I did indeed get an expert -- a really nice chap called Frosty -- ex Fire service, ex JLR development and tester and now full time instructor at Eastnor -- so arrival at 8:45 as instructed, met at the gate, advised to park in front of the building (that might have had something to do with the fact that I was driving a 68 plate L405, but they claim not) -- coffee on arrival -- briefing at 9am (after placing lunch order) and then off out in the car -- which was a very nice (white, why do they do that? shows the mud better?) MY19 L405. Apart from lunch I then spent the best part of 7 hours driving round all the tracks they had to offer, so plenty of mud and ruts, plenty of lean angles on tracks, a few boulders here and there.

Also had the experience of the steps, the giant water bath, the doughnut where you get it firstly on three wheels, then two, then three -- three wheel roller so the traction from one wheel drags you out -- opposing holes to test the articulation, and an extreme lean angle.

Then off for some more mud and ruts, along with some very steep slopes.

Can't really fault the day in any way -- all the JLR staff were brilliant, I got to understand how to drive the thing properly off road which is what I asked the guy to teach me.

Very happy customer

Hope that helps some of you looking in Smile
