The time has come to sell my stunning L405, as I have decided to go back to a 5.0 Supercharged engine

Without question this is probably the highest spec’d car I will ever own, the original owner clearly wanted the works, and you could find yourself in a unique and beautiful head turning Range Rover. This car was £102,000 when new.

This car has a full Vogue SE spec and also many extras. It is in absolutely stunning condition, the interior is spotless and like a brand new car, you can still smell the leather. A smoke free and pet free car, this has only done road work, I’ve never taken it offroad (I have a Discovery for that). I am fastidious when it comes to looking after my cars. They are never taken through a car wash or local hand wash centre, I only ever wash the car myself using the 3 bucket method, lambswool mitt etc, and care for the paintwork with Meguiars Ultimate and Gold Class range. The interior is looked after with Gliptone leather conditioner and cleaner.

Not surprised you want to go back to a 5.0 Supercharged engine but it must be heartbreaking to part with a car with that specification.

I am amazed to see a Vogue SE with executive seating. This is a connoisseur's car and ideally suits a buyer who appreciates the darker things in life. I mean it sure is black! It's only the RSE that bring a splash of colour to proceedings.

Joking aside, I can imagine this 5 or 10 years down the line.... very special indeed and like hen's teeth. In the meantime, at least the kids will be happy.

As a side story, before the L405 was officially launched I literally bumped into Gerry McGovern in Leamington Spa one evening and he was just getting into his L405. It was this exact spec car, grey with all black interior and Exec seating. I fell in love with it when I saw it. I also had a chat with the man himself! Discovery 4 HSE
