L322 Android Head Unit upgrade (Dec 2006)

I've had a little read and think I can't upgrade by head unit as this is the facelift model. Is this correct? If so, what are my options? Love the car but the unit seems very dated. Sad

Thanks, I just didn't know if anything had changed recently.

Do you know what my options are to update, possibly carplay and bluetooth for calls?
