England

I know what you mean Tim, I've still got my first car, (The Mini) and had the intention 4 or 5 years back to et it back on the road after a partial resto, I had budgeted £2000 to get it solid, painted and back in good working order. Now, possibly £8k later, I still haven't done everything I want to it. (I'm only guessing at the current total, I stopped counting at £3k and hardly anything had changed on the car, now the only original things on the car are the boot lid, boot floor and the roof) I think between MOT's, it would be lucky to have covered 500 miles last year due to only using it on the odd dry weekend.

Mind you, it's a bit of a transformation from how it started out so I suppose it sort of justifies the money, well, to me it does anyway. Like yourself, I'm not a huge drinker, don't smoke, probably should be looking for a place of my own too, but until then, I think I'll keep spending on it Laughing 2006 Mercedes CLS
