As some have seen, I'm off to the Dordogne and Lot areas of France tomorrow and I'd been asked to post what issues, if any, are to be experienced whilst travelling in France with the whole Brexit rot going on. I don't actually land in France via the tunnel until about midday tomorrow but just wanted to set up a thread to post to from my laptop rather than the phone.
My route is as below if it helps.

I travelled to UK and back via the tunnel in February with no problems at all and don't anticipate you will have any problems. Driving in the Dordogne and Haute Vienne is quite as normal currently.

Alistair is due to travel back to UK and, if he has already left Bordeaux, he can update.

Which of the routes shown are you taking? Presumably one coming and the other going? John

I don't expect to come across any problems at all but had been asked to report back, so I will happily do so. I have always found people everywhere to be just like us and only too happy to help someone should they be in trouble. I don't think I'll have any issues but have cover in place in case.
There was a remark on a previous thread of mine which stated things were much worse than had been reported. I can honestly say I was unaware of anything going on in the first place. Both Alistair and you would support the idea that there's nothing to be worried about. I'm of the same mind myself but worth updating everyone here for peace of mind.
My route is anticlockwise as such. Starting at Sainte Nicolas, Serpolin, Paradis and so on.

Not really getting that close to Paris, it's just how Google maps drew in the route. I'll be a bit further east I would imagine. If you have a route in mind, I'm all ears.

I can report that there are absolutely no issues between a Biscarrosse and Bordeaux airport though nothing has changed

I fly to the U.K. on Monday again, back to Bordeaux on Thursday then drive Saturday - but even if we’d hard brexited, I wouldn’t expect any issues going home.

My main concern is that it’s been reported on PistonHeads that speeding tickets are now following you home so my journey might take a little longer than usual

Normally we use the A20 to Vierzon, the A71 to Orléans , A10 until junction 12 then N154 Chartres, Dreux, Evreux, then A13 Rouen then A28, A16. Suits us and avoids Paris.

Off the A13 into Rouen we take the D13/18 which leads to the ramp up onto the Pont Mathilde and straight into the tunnel for the A28.

If you have any problems when down this way feel free to contact by PM. We are in the north of the Dordogne. Can't remember whether you have a Gap iiD tool but I have one and can read and clear faults.

BUT you won't have any problems.

PS. East of Paris is not so straightforward. John

I am on my way back tomorrow from Sarlat came over week past wednesday no issues at all. We are heading to Hesdin in pas de Calais to see my sister and on the train on Sunday dont expect there to be any delays as like a lot on here use the Flexiplus annual account

Hi All
Just back came through Calais in about an hour with a flexiplus ticket - that was from arrival to train departure but they were herding cars into the temporary car parks and if on an ordinary ticket was taking a long long time.
Roads in France were busy but not to a level it would cause a delay - the UK was just the UK M25 was slow
