There are a couple of posts about opening the rear door and taking out a hole plug in the back of the front door to allow a lever to open the door lock.

Hi thanks have already searched till I am blue in the face .I think the back door would have to come off .This procedure is not guaranteed to work either.due to my surgery and radiotherapy that I have had I am not fit .Hence looking for someone who has done this job .Thanks again |

Looks like a pretty common issue judging by amount of online results for this. Seems like the cable can come away from the handle, sounds like it might be quite a fiddly job to get it back in place.

Thank you for your kind help. will have another go at it when I feel a bit stronger.i normally would not give up and keep going until I got it but not today thanks again guy's for your help will post result if I ever get it open Rik |

Ok guys got door open today after a bit of swearing and skint knuckles.eventualy knocked a hole in top of plastic cover of lock and sprayed in some loosall and wala she opened after all this time hope this helps someone else thanks again |
