i had 2 moog front ball joints fitted and 1 of them had play in from new - avoid moog

So.. ARE other makes poorly engineered(China?) Are they dangerous? Compared visually with Delphi is inferiority obvious? Or just prone to early failure? I made the same mistake that you’re thinking about making and ended up doing the drop links again a matter of weeks later then the balljoints a few months later.
If you’re doing it yourself it might be worth trying a cheaper version and hoping you get lucky but if you’re paying for fitting it would be madness to take the chance.
A mechanic mate of mine now refuses to fit most internet supplied parts as he is sick of customers returning when their bargain parts fail because they’ve obviously been fitted badly.
