I have an April 2018 registered (MY2017) Vogue.

Whilst attending a LR complimentary off road day last week the staff member advised that my car key is the old type and therefore liable to be cloned or scanned allowing my vehicle to be stolen.

I was already aware of the issue and keep the key in one of those key pockets that block the signal but I wasn’t aware that the latest key does not allow the coding to be stolen.

I was wondering if it is possible to purchase the latest type of key and have it programed for my vehicle.

I can PM you my vin /registration number if required.

Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

I think there may be some confusion about what the OP was told.
According to Which? magazine, the 2018 RR has a keyless system that uses ultra-wide-band technology which enables the car to very accurately determine the actual distance between the key and the car meaning that relay type theft is rendered unworkable. The implication is that this was new in 2018 and previous model years are different.
