Moving a 2006 RR with a banjaxxed turbo under it's own power

Hi Everyone,

My previous 2006 has been moved to work (without being fired up), I now need to move it into the garage to have a few bits removed as spares for my 2009, wheels swapped etc. It's going to be running for about 5 minutes - NOT ON THE ROAD.

To mitigate clouds of smoke and possible run to destruction - I was thinking if I disconnect the turbo hoses from the top of the engine (I don't really care about dirty air going straight in) - will it limp and also not smoke as much?

You can tell everything I've owned previously was petrol!!

Once it's had those few parts removed it will be up for grabs.

2006 TDV8 - 175000+ miles, serviced on time, everything works apart from the fact the EGR failed, the turbo ate it and it got switched off. Land Rover Addict
