What would be the maximum mileage you would advise lpg converting a 4.4 or 4.2sc ffrr, any advice and thoughts welcome chaps.

Not sure why it makes any difference. if the engine is good and well looked after, LPg shouldn't matter? My LPG 4.4 V8 is on 190,000 miles now and was converted at 129,000. All worked 100% since! Thumbs Up

Once fitted make sure it is serviced every year (or 200 hours) and you should have no probs. Mine is a STAG system (Polish origin I believe) although the 4.2 SC copes better with a BRC system(not sure on the make name) and needs a lube system as well), as does the JAG 4.4 naturally aspirated.

Thanks for that dolphinboy, that makes my choice of rr easier knowing a well looked after one with higher mileage will be ok to convert to lpg and not having to spend 10k+ on a lower mileage rr Thumbs Up

We also have a few good installers in Birmingham ref reviews I've read who do both Brc and stag systems Thumbs Up
