A post for help.

I collected a 67 reg V6 FFRR L405 Autobiography with 4000 miles on the clock approved used on Thursday evening. I drove from Watford to Essex then on Friday the car lit up with every error imaginable. I called Land Rover assist when the technician arrived, he said that various modules require updating. He updated what he could, I drove home, and now Saturday the same thing has happened again and I am waiting for LRA to arrive again.

Any advice or similar experiences that could shed a light?? ( I have driven in total less than 200 miles since collecting the car )..

i would suggest checking that the battery is up to scratch..

Agree - multiple errors is usually a low battery triggering all sorts of false alerts.

Send it back for full refund before it drives you mad until you finally sell it for a massive loss.

It is going back tomorrow morning, LRA said that they will recover it on Monday but I am not waiting.
I will drive it back somehow and take it from there - it is really frustrating..

Totally fed up with it after 3 days, mind you it is my 5th FFRR so maybe I am mad...

I have video of the screen going crazy with the errors, if I work out how to upload I will..

Not comparing your car with previous issues i have seen but! For an example... We had one in with every issue you could imagine on the dash! It landed up the car had lost its ABS software! NO the car cannot do this said JLR but it did! Because the ABS ECU talks to so many other modules they then through up fault after fault after fault!

So something as minor as a bit of software crippled the whole car!

Well the car was collected this morning, the driver said that all he is doing is picking up RR with electronic issues.

On the plus side, they have given me a 19 plate RRLWB as a loaner so quite happy for them to keep mine for as long as they wish....

I have a 17MY and the software seems stable. I've had an issue with a turbo boost solenoid which was fixed early on but nothing since. I had the Apple Carplay software installed a few weeks ago and an update to the newer 18D software and it mucked about so I took it back a week later. The tech looked at it and had it sorted in less than two hours. If you're in Essex and want to keep the car, take it to Lookers Chelmsford where I was looked after really well and they seem to know what they're looking at.
