Plymouth, that’s handy! Yes, they’re still for sale, although, being a bit cautious, I’ll be much more comfortable to part with them once a set of new take off 20” rims satisfactorily arrive by carrier later today

I’ve got a very handy enclosed box trailer that I could drop them down to you safely in Plymouth as well, if that helps.

When you do your tyre swap, would you wind up with one good condition, road legal tyre left over that I could pick up and refit to my spare wheel?

If so, do you know how long it would be until that would become available?

I don't need to change the tyres yet but having decided to keep this car for the long term, just fancied keeping the next set in the garage until needed. Perhaps to keep things simple I just take the three and we can worry about the fourth at a later date? Don't want to cause you any grief!

Sounds like the way I work; mine's a long term keeper and I like to hold a bit of tyre stock in case of emergencies Nothing like finding out that there's a 5 day backlog of orders when faced with a couple of dead tyres...

How would you feel if you were to take the three that I've got then, as the spare is not going to be used and will stay in perfect storage conditions, if you like, give me a call just before you need to swap the entire set and you can sort something out for a similar cost on the 4th tyre at the time? That way, you get the price on all 4 and I get to retain a usable 21" matching spare.

Meantime, I could drop the three that I have off with you at the weekend, if that suits.
