My exhaust back box was also looking tatty, so I treated it to a couple of coats of high temperature satin black today.

Another similat but just a satifying job is to remove the wheels (one by one) and paint the silver/grey wheel hubs that ALWAYS start to rust and look horrible.

Couldn't agree more. Its all these bits that make a car look old. The other bit that i always seem to focus on is the brake disc cover behind the brake disc and would like to coat this in shiney silver! |

just cleaned the disc up and painted with silver hammerite, black gloss caliper paint and yes they are decals, they have been on there for a while with no probs, cleaned up the caliper with a wire brush and then paint them, any excess soon gets rubbed off, i cant stand looking at a nice car and then seeing rusty calipers.done both the front and back V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
