Are you getting restricted performance messages and it goes into limp mode but on restart everything is ok for a while?

If it's been running backwards (ours was), it's probably wise to replace it even if it's still running. Here's the one we fitted a year ago - no problems since: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BHKX9PA |

I checked before buying my SC that the wiring had been rectified by Land Rover. They had not changed the pump though! It startet to act up, sometimes it ran like it should somtimes it did not start at all. When wired backwards it runs full time, this wears it out. I would really recommend this tool to change the pump, made it very easy.

So, finally getting round to this at the weekend! Got a Bosch replacement off EBay and worked out the procedure for removing and refitting! The only thing I’m not sure about is changing the polarity of the wiring? I know how to check it, but not sure what’s involved to correct it if it’s is wrong? Is it a case of cutting wires and resoldering? Been a while since I’ve done any soldering (school days), any tips/pointers much appreciated? |

you can remove the pins with a small screwdriver , if you dont fancy that just cut the latch off the plug in connector and push it on the other way, if you see what I mean |

Finally got round to removing the supercharger coolant pump this morning. A bit fiddly, but got there in the end. Not looking forward to putting the new one back in as that looks even more fiddly!
