Are these gremlins linked

Hi,

My 02 vogue has a few minor electrical issues. I am trying to work out if its the bcm or if they are all independent.

The first is that the doors don't lock automatically when you go over 30km any more.

Second is that the rear window behind the driver seat occasionally develops a mind of its own and opens. Yesterday I turned on the windscreen heater and low and behold the rear window opened.

On the same door the locking mechanism has a tendency to be a little bit slow. Some times it is unlocked but on the first pull of the handle the door doesn't open. It will usually open on a second tug.

Last issue, which I think is seperate is that the mirrors are no longer folding. i think that is to do with the passenger mirros micro switch.

IID tool isn't showing anything that would cover these. Is it the BCM?

Thanks

Could it be corrosion in either the switches in the driver's arm rest, or the connector on the BECM?

Wonder if there is damp or something in there, I would say that if the BECM had an issue then the IID tool would find some codes. Of course I could be wrong! Formerly happymadison1978

There is a post on here about mirror microswitches giving problems, here's one

^+1 on corrosion.

I think the IID tool has a section to activate/deactiate the drive away door locking. Perhaps reset using that Unsure about the 02 cars, but the 11my has a drive away locking on/off in the car's screen menu. Cheers

Interesting I may have cleared that doing a hard reset. I have to prise the mirror covers off and have a look this weekend.
