Hi all,

I'm looking for a dog guard for my 2010MY L322. I know I have the option of either the normal metal grille, or the retractable net (aside from discussions about which is better!).

I've seen a retractable one for sale in the right colour for my interior, so I asked the seller whether it came with the necessary brackets. He replied and said as far as he knew there are no extra brackets required and it "just slots into whats in the car". He said he'd used it in his car.

Is this correct? Or might he have somehow bought a car which already had the brackets? I don't want to buy it (it's not cheap) and then find I need to hunt down more parts.

There are lower brackets that will not be there if the car was not spec'd with it. They are easy to retrofit but you will need to source them either with the retractable guard or separately.

The upper brackets are there already, or they were in my 2005 at least. RR History

There’s no real argument to which is better as a dog guard, because the retractable net isn’t a dog guard, it’s a luggage net.

As above, you will need the lower fixing brackets that the cassette slots into. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
