iid tool set up 2nd car

Just bought an extra license for my iid tool, {I have 2 rangey`s}
To get the unlock code, do I have to plug it in to the original registered car?
as I cannot access the tools menu when plugged into the new car

Check with GAP for the procedure .

Sorted!
All done, plugged tool into new car cleared faults (thankfully not many)
Set my speedo to km, everything is working fine.....at the moment.
Great piece of kit!
