Hi all
Just got home with my new one, 2012 TDV8, bit confused re; the sat nav.
In the uk I could input destination etc, it wasn’t great but it worked ok, when I arrived in Calais, it would not allow me to input anything, and could not change to France map. But all the way home it is showing accurate display of roads etc
Obviously the mapping is on the hardrive, but I am not allowed to access destination input, how do I overcome this, do I need to buy a license/ pin code, if so, where from?
I did not get the correct manuals when I collected the car, so have no record of any pin code to try.

change the map to france and then it will accept the french area numbers..

I was in Calais last week to bringing my 2012 home.

You can change the map, it's just really unintuitive. You can't select the country by touching the map, you need to select from a drop-down or another style menu

go to this screen,




click on search area,

then choose on this screen,

Now we just have to figure out how to change the main speedo to km
