Help please

Hi guys all has been well with my l322 for a while anyway just recently the alternator decided it had enough so i changed that all was well again so after a week to 10 days only on 1st start up the battery light flashes once then straight out it still starts fine with new alternatior battery and starter are also new ! Anyway car not been any where all week come to start tonight flat as i witches tit !! So i changed the battery for a spare i have laying around and it started but again did the battery light flash on then off but like i say it only ever does this on 1st start up after being sat over night its a 05 td6 if this is any help aswell what are your thoughts thanks guys

Sounds like a duff alternator, or a battery drain of some kind. You will need to do some testing.

I was hoping the alternator if im honest i hate chasing electrical faults but what should i look at item wise tahg would cause a battery drain and how or what testing shall i be doing thanks
