Anyone had to pay them when ordering direct from GAP? I have just had a text from DHL saying £54 is payable.

Has been reported on several of the other forums that importation charge has been applied buying direct from Gap.
Dan at Duckworths is generally accepted as the best deal!

I didn’t think VAT was payable outside the EU either. Roll on free trade agreements!

I’ve found out they have charged VAT on $380 (£221) even though the tool is £180 plus £219 surcharge so now I’m really confused.

Not familiar with uk import procedures but they must be a way to claim back the difference. 2015 4.4 AB
