It has a metal plate embedded on the back. So I have mounted it to the left of the instrument cluster (on the blank bit) on a short, magnetic, adjustable stick-on phone mount.

It's slightly obscured by the steering wheel, but I tried loads of mount positions (oo-er Missus) and I find it's the only location that doesn't foul any switches, vents or displays.

Will take a photo when I get around to it.
