Yeah totally agree, and with a very unfair reputation for bad behavior and they are truly great off road and sound wonderful. Got a few jobs to make it perfect such as putting proper headlights back on it. ETC.

That looks tidy.

I must admit though, I did go RR Classic, Disco 2, L322 due to P38 reliability reputation..... and I don’t really have any direct experience of reliability of the P38s....

The facelift makes them look nicer and I like Hurricane or Mondial alloys.

Cheers mate, yeah its pretty pristine. Yeah I had a couple of classics which I should have kept given what they sell for. Yes it is a shame that they had the rep, in my own experience my two P38s have been way more reliable than my first TDV8 which cost £9,000.00 in faults in 18 months or thereabouts. That said a neglected P38 is a nightmare. 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8

United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Tangiers Orange

I have been driving mine for the last week, and it is really such a smooth drive, even with the all terrain tyres and roof rack. It does sound better than our V8 322 and ou V8 405 too!.
Never missed a beat bar a dying air compressor. Mind you the whole P38 was revamped upon purchasing it 2 years ago by Mr Cam Tech himself! Thumbs Up l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

Cheers Mr Glover and Verydisco, very kind. Yeah getting from a 2012 TDV8 into a P38 is not the jaw dropping difference some would think in terms of comfort and off road ability. Though will concede the power on the road is very different once going, though this one has been chipped so its pretty nippy to begin with. It had a brand new factory engine fitted by Lookers in 2005 which has only covered about 40,000 miles so far so hopefully there is a lot of life left in the old girl yet. 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8

That is lovely!

Are those wheels done in shadowchrome? Was thinking of having mine done in a similar shade.

Totally agree, furthermore the P38 is more nimble in the corners and on roundabouts that the TDV8 IMO. The P38 does not feel like a big car, whereas the L322 really does. Worlds apart, but both rather special. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

Cheers for the kind words, she is a sweetie. Needs a few more jobs doing then we will have everything working.

I thought the first owner had had the wheels re-done but I have the build sheet for the car from the factory and they are listed as something different. I will look it out when I am home and let you know what it is listed as. 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8
