TDV8 4.4 Coolant temperature sensor location

Hi All
I'm trying to find the location of the coolant temperature sensor on the 4.4 TDV8. I know it's been covered before but the pictures in the posting don't open. Please could someone post a location image.

Many thanks

^^^^
if you remove throttle body you will have enough space to unplug and remove sensor.

If you are having problems with both the oil level sensor and the water temperature sensor, I wouldn’t rule out some form of “electrical “ issue before I started changing sensors.
I like Stan’s starter for ten, check the fuse, get a voltmeter on it and go from their.

Fuse 5E (#5 in the main engine bay fuse panel, not the auxiliary fuse panel in the same box) supplies the oil sensor but also several other components so is unlikely to be the cause. The coolant temp sensor is not supplied with power from a fuse.

With water getting onto the battery I would check the condition of the ECM connectors as the ECM is adjacent to the battery and water may have penetrated the connector contacts.
