OK so has anybody ever had a quote to replace a front leather seat cover with a replacement LR leather cover? |

Yes! You can't go to Harrods and then come home and say "well darling, this caviar is rather expensive, I won't be going there again!" As you say, it's a premium brand; which has a premium price tag. If you want to run a Range Rover on a budget - then be prepared to use your eyes and spend 7 seconds typing a part number into google! If you're not prepared to make the effort then don't complain about the cost FFS! |

So you don't shop around? You just buy the first thing you see and just take the salesman in front of you at face value? |

I think my dad told me a replacement leather seat cover for my 2002 model was something like £70 + vat. We were both surprised it was that cheap tbh. That was for the bit you sit on that always get damaged. Back of seat was something like £80 + vat. FFRR TD6 HSE

Thanks that's very helpful. Are they easy to fit or is it a specialist only job? Gary |

I was surprised too, also the foam cushion underneath the leather that gives the seat its shape is very cheap. Certainly worth considering as the seats do wear badly. £160 to replace all the leather on the drivers seat for example is a bargain if you want to sell the car in "best" condition. |
