Parchment vs Ivory

I'm looking at something for sale on eBay which the seller has listed as being Parchment colour. My interior is Ivory so I asked him to check what colour it was and he came back and said that Ivory & Parchment are the same colour.

True, or desperate sales tactics?

Not true.

Parchment is slightly darker and slightly Sandy in colour. Ivory is heading more towards creamy white.

Ivory has a slight creamy yellow tinge to it - Parchment is more whiter as in the writing paper 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17
