Gus Salmon - servicing

A friend with an Evoque took her car for a service at Guy Salmon this week. All they did was wash it (and admit as much). She quizzed them why this is the second time in two years they have done this. I haven't heard the answer yet, but it made me feel so much better about all the rubbish I have put up with from main dealers over the years.

For me, this is main dealers sinking to even lower levels than I thought possible.

So I take it that she went for a yearly service? Oil, filters etc etc?

Yeah, I guess so, annual service. She works in Northampton, Luton and London. So, probably a North London one. Not sure on any details, just been chatting on text.

I do see that Guy Salmon is part of Sytner, and they seem to be upsetting everyone I know at the moment.

They have lost me from ever buying another Land Rover.

What they find as acceptable and what I do are not the same.
