Thanks for all the great advice guys, feel like I have been searching forever for the elusive right one lol, yes I agree the more "stuff" the better, think it was just with that one being in such great condition I took my eye of all the added extras I could get and based it on the overall condition, I am a bit over top when it comes to condition and this has seen me knock back a few over the months, but aware that with a budget of 20k-24k max I wont get perfect but would like as near as.

With that kind of budget, you can be really picky! Set up alerts from Autotrader etc, I'd be wanting a top spec AB /Westminster at that budget. Good Luck, and there's worse problems to have Mr. Green Thumbs Up Mr. Green

+1 ^

For that budget you should be able to get a lowish mileage very late (12/62 plate) AB/VSE/Westie in good condition. They are out there and may take a while to find but you'll be pleased when you find it.

Yes alanm, I just cant stretch to the L405 or I would but just a bit out of budget and not really wanting to wait around till they drop a bit more.
the search goes on and hopefully a nice AB or Westie can be found under my budget limit leaving me a bit over to add to my maintenance pot

This one might fit your bill:

And as it's from Gary Elliott Prestige Cars - who, of course, sponsor this site. What do I put here then?

^^ Agreed. I'd take a look at the one Gary is selling. It's a Westminster and well within your budget plus Gary is a trusted seller.
