Access Height Knocking Noise

Couldn’t find anything relating to this in search...

I select access height every time I park. Around 50% of the time, as it nears the end of its travel, there is a loud bang/knock (sounds like something metal snapping) from the o/s/rear.

Is this something anyone else has experienced? I’m guessing some kind of suspension/link issue? Only covered 23k so I wouldn’t have expected something to be knackered so soon.

Just thought I’d ask before booking it in...

TIA

No, but knocking noise is only once when i stop, if I try to raise the vehicle and lower to access height without driving it there is no sound

Do you select access height with the parking brake on or foot on brake?
Try without and see if it does it. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

I usually select access without my foot on the brake and before I apply the park brake. But have tried all ways and it generally still happens.
