I’ll do some screenshots for you if you like, but it’s accessed from the sub-menu in CCF called ‘Body...’ something or other and scrolling down you’ll find Cruise Control that will indicate what’s already default and you have the option to change. FF MY2010 3.6 tdV8 VogueSE

Apologies for the delay Mark, I was stuck on the M3 overnight because of a bit of snow! At least I was in the Range Rover...

Sadly I haven't got my IID Tool with me this weekend, but yes, I think it's via Body Control, and then Cruise Control or JAG Cruise Control settings. Must admit I haven't enabled this one, but might try in the future from the sound of it.

The CCF update can take a couple of minutes to upload, so just make sure you have a full battery before you begin, as you don't want it to shut itself down with low battery before it finishes - do it just after a reasonable drive, and keep the engine running until the IID Tool shuts it off, or connect a decent charger.

Screenshots as requested.
1. Select CCF menu
2. Select Body Control sub-menu
3. Select Jaguar CC
4. Select option from menu, I selected Queue
5. Upload modified CCF parameters to the car via the Tool.

The tool will shut down the car & activate the ignition to position II as part of the process, so make sure that you have a healthy charge in the battery. FF MY2010 3.6 tdV8 VogueSE

Paul - sorry you had such a miserable trip home, but as you say, at least you were in your Range Rover and glad you made it home safely in the end Very Happy

Thanks for the info and the reminder about making sure the battery is topped up.

Tickety - thank you very much for the screen shots, very much appreciated.

I have still not decided whether to give this a try or not but my mind has currently been made up for me because I cannot find my bloody IID tool Big Cry

I haven’t had a great experience with the IID BT tool so far. Purchased direct from GAP in March.

1st one had to go back as it was faulty.

The replacement has now stopped working after a couple of weeks. GAP tell me to tighten the OBD pins so I did. Fiddly job that was but after all that, it made no difference. Message on the app still says “Tool does not respond”.

I’m then told to try it on another car so I did and got the same flashing LED faults on the other car (2x red/ 4x green) Clearly the tool is at fault now.

I’m then told to update the firmware as it’s possibly corrupt so I tried that. It wouldn’t update and kept throwing up an error message on my laptop and aborting..

Then apparently I have a faulty USB cable so I try two more one of which is brand new. Still nothing.

Now I’m being told to try another USB port - I’ve tried all 3 on my laptop and still get the error message.

Last email tonight advised to try another computer which I haven’t got.

I’m not impressed so far sadly. My old IID tool worked fine for years.

When they work, they work very well. But when they don’t....
