Any other here that has experience of burned engine oil odor in cabin. This odor apear in about 10 min of driving and it smells really nasty. The car has been in at the dealer and they said that they solved it and change a gasket but still this ugly odor. When I open the hood I can also see fumes just between the engine and the air intake. Maybe this is an known fault?

Could it be that they found the leak, changed the gasket but didn’t clean up the spillage = burning off?

Thanks. Could be like that. I give it another week to try to burn it of. If the odor then still is there then back to the dealer.

Visible smoke in that area can be exhaust from the fuel burning heater, it comes on automatically under 5 degrees C, I don't know if that is relevant in Spain just now. If you drive only a short distance and then switch off, the car needs to burn off the fuel in the heater and that produces the visible smoke. It might make its way into the cabin if there are insulation gaps etc. The smell is unpleasant and unhealthy too, one would not want it in an enclosed space. Only Range Rovers since 1988
