it can be any size you want as long as the numbers and letters are the correct legal size and font....

Thanks Stan, I was trying to find out the correct size for the overall plate to fit the recess, not the character sizes. I don't have a RR handy to check it myself at present. |

On our 11MY the recess is 22.5 x 6.5 and yes I have just measured it

I think you’ll find that’s 520 x111 mm in pre Brexit money , Stan 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back

The standard RR rear plate seems to be bigger than most other cars. Mine is 533x152mm (21x6in). 2011 5.0 S/C |
