Hi All

Just wondering if it is possible to fit timed climate and remote park heat as a retrofit ? my 2016 L405 does not have this fitted from the factory

and if so what parts would be needed

You can't retrofit remote fbh but you can enable timed climate although as mentioned in the thread you will have an error in the system but timed climate does operate as designed.  Cheers Ian

seems a pity that you cant enable the timed climate and park heat and fit a reciever and remote fob like i did on my old rrs

I know, it's the one thing I miss from my Disco 4's. Being retired I don't go out at the same time every day so I have to remember to set the timer the night before if I'm going out early and it would be so much easier to just press a button  Cheers Ian

Do you have the "in control" app on your phone ? in very cold weather the car only needs about 5 to 8 mins to get quite warm inside but you do have to remember to use it !

Yes I do have the incontrol apps but no remote engine start

Its not remote engine start its diesel burning heater start up , I thought that your 2016 car would have had this ( mine is September 2015 and has this fitted ) but I suppose this is why you started the thread in the firs place !

the topix build sheet states "less park heating" and "less block heater"
