If you surf over to our sister forum for Range Rover Sports www.RRsport.co.uk I know the same fault has been dealt with several times over there in the last 18 months - if you use the forum search function here and over there and on Disoc3.co.uk you will find loads of posts about similar problems.

My guess is ita only really likely to effect the dynamic stability control. I.e. the car will be less stable in an "exciting event".

Out of interest, did you replace the Yaw unit yourself or get a LR garage to do it? Reason I ask is because LR dealers have been known to charge for replacing parts they haven't...

Thanks for your input Elpeede, Tim and Dan. Bought own YAW unit and had mate who is BMW specialist to fit in his garage. I told him about these forums, but he said to steer clear cos they can lead you away from the prob, but he is starting to come round and listen to what you guys are saying about the all the history you have between you all. Battery is new when I bought the car but I will make sure its the correct one for the job next time im in the garage.Tim I went into the offroad sat nav couldnt find the settings you where steering towards! Elpeede do you you know your ex neighbours phone No.!! |

a generic reader for a Bosch ECU will only give generic manufacturer codes as per whatever BMW use...the LR full diagnostics gives a lot more detail and specifics usually

Cheers Richcl, cheers for that, Ive been through the forums and found your faults and it was one of the first things i looked at. But im going with Bogie on this one, going round to the garage today to give my friend a little push to have this sorted. On the bright side of things it certainly stops you getting board, wish I could get my hands on a ladder wiring diagram. |

i've been getting the fault message air suspension inactive, but it coincides with the car not starting due to a flat battery. new battery ordered so i'll keep on eye on things and update the post if i ca remember to do so. |
