Honky horn

goodday

after I went to service my 2013 RR and prepare for government checkup, my horn sounds like a bobby car horn....
it was working before servicing at the RR dealer, now it is just sounding ridiculous like an old VW polo....

I called the dealer and they just said bad luck, the horn is somewhere located under the front bumper and that fixing it means removing the bumper.....

any ideas?

As they had to clean the engine...might water be a problem?

regards, Alex

Its two horn sounders , most likely one has died.
Bit of a pain to do but managed to change mine out without removing bumper but its Censored tight!!

I had something very similar with a RR Sport a few years ago. After it had been washed by the dealer the horn sounded like an old moped but started working again after about a week. I did suspect water ingress that dried out but do let us know where you get to with this.

They are behind the grille on a UK L405 sir... Very easy to change, 4 clips and the grille pulls off and then the horn "cassette" is held in place by a torx drive screw in the middle... Thumbs Up
