2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

Brake disks and pads

Time to change disks and pads on my 2012 Westminster.

There are a lot to chose from on the buying sites. What are your views on original parts vs. OEM?

2010 Range Rover HSE TDV8 Zambezi Silver

Original if you get them at the right price but I went for Delphi coated ones. No squeak and been perfect. Current:
- L560 Velar HSE R-Dynamic D180
- Peugeot 508 2011 - 2.2 HDi GT

Past:
- FFRR V 2010 - 3.6 TDV8
- Citroen C4 1.6i Petrol
- Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2 DID
- Peugeot 607 2.2 HDi
- Nissan Primera 1.8 SVE
- Honda Civic 1.6 VTEC

I fitted a full set of original LR disks and pads, 40K miles later they are still fine, I have previously fitted cheaper ones but have never got 40K out of them.
IMHO it’s worth spending the extra

About to do the same - EBC Redstuff or Greenstuff.

Either nearly double the price but worth it I think. Shorter stopping distance, low dust formula too.
