Dash wiring.

I've been given a Response Head-Up Display, which will sit on the dash in frnt of the driver. It's powered by a cable to the cigarette port.
I'd like to tuck the cable as much out of sight as possible, but preferably without taking too much of the car to pieces.
Has anybody done this kind of a job?

Probably best to do the same as folks have done to power up their dashcams, and get a cigar lighter socket powered by a piggy back fuse direct from the main fusebox in the glovebox. You could either run the cabling around the headlining or lift the dash top (was easy on earlier models).

Search forum for dashcam to see how .
