Hi guys...


I do tend to switch this off, the main reason being I don’t want to b r the starter motor. (thats a technical term) ie over use the motor.


Or am I worrying to much about the component quality ?


There are of course times when best to switch off, eg if wanting to get over a junction swiftly...as I feel there is a moments delay in getting going.



Views/ experiences will be appreciated ?


Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

In the past 5 months of ownership I find I can judge pretty well the pressure needed to get the stop to work. This way I can keep it going with a lighter hold for when I need a quickish escape or harder at the lights to get the stop working. I find the fuel saving is between 5-10% for my town stop go stuff with it on. Quite a bit of time is spent sitting going nowhere and it just makes sense to turn the engine off.
