I have a fault “Yaw rate sensor open circuit�

Does anyone have an experience with this particular fault?

Replaced a Coca Cola sticky Yaw rate sensor and still had this problem!

So it was an open circuit, a pin was bent in the ABS ECU.

It was also giving a CAN BUS fault C0867-2 & C0867-20 on the Air suspension ECU.

Straightened the pin and all now works well - sometimes the simplest least obvious solution are the right ones- now off to refit my centre console!

It is an early one, I get Can-bus errors on the ABS and supension.. but they display in another format.

0x32 CAN bus fault.

This one is gone now, can't check right now. But he will be back as he has some serious gearbox trouble.

I had a similar thing on a Discovery 3, it would go mad every time it got really hot in the cabin (normal here, the lady lives in the seaming hot lowlands). I cleaned the pins of corrosion, made them a bit beefier with solder and that fixed it. Well I hope it did, haven't heard from it since.

I’m pretty sure that’s a steering angle sensor fault.

Start with the wheel in the centre, full lock left. Full lock right

Often the pins wear down. There are several threads on this

Old thread I know, but we had one once that would fail when warmed up leading to the usual DSC fail, suspension fail etc.

The solution was to keep the rear vents on cold with minimal rear fan so the centre tunnel is kept cool
