I noticed this morning a range rover parked outside a garage.
Querulous, I went to look at it.
A guy came out to see me and I asked him about the car
He said the motor had to come out, to get the motor out you have to take the body off, you have to do that on all range rovers he said, I have had the body off this car three times.
It was a range rover sport
I have read a lot of posts here but I cant remember reading this
Is he right? RR 2005 4.4 petrol

If it’s a first generation RR Sport then yes, quite a few jobs are made possible (or just a lot easier) by removing the body. It’s not as bad as it sounds

As for “doing it on ALL Range Rovers”, that’s not the case with the L322, the L405 or the current Sport as there’s no separate chassis to lift the body off!
