Going from Arnot reman front back to oem. Need new fittings?

My original front passanger OEM strut blew and I replaced them both fronts with arnot reman units. Well the front driver side Arnott now blew. I still have the original OEM driver front so I want to put that on instead of buying another reman unit.

Question: it’s been a while and I’m not sure if I’ll need to buy any parts to do this. Will I need a new air line fitting or will I be able to use the one connected to the Arnot reman unit? I thought part of the process to nstall the Arnot was to do something. With the OEM airline fitting. But now I want to go back to stock air suspension.

If I need a new fitting anyone have a spare laying around ? Haha 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Anyone?

I’d like to start fixing this so I can drive it. But want to make sure I can do it and have al the parts. Only thing I can think of would be a new airline fitting for the strut? 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Have you forgotten what you did when you fitted the Arnotts ? IIRC the fitting is the same

It was over 3 years ago haha. I know the armors came with a new fitting. But I can’t remember if I need a new one to put the oem back In. In other words you need a new fitting each time you fit the airline to a strut 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

The Arnott instructions I have say do not use the original airline fitting and to remove and use the new fitting that was part of the new Arnott Bag 2011 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography

Yea and I recall doing that and using the Arnot fitting. But now I’m going back to stock. So I’m wondering if the Arnott fitting will work or I need to cut it off and get another OEM fitting 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

As you are in the USA why don't you get onto Arnott and get a free replacement, Don't they offer a lifetime warranty?. I have tried them before and got knocked back as they said the guarantee is USA only. That turned me right off them, buy a premium product for the guarantee then they fail in quick time and the guarantee is useless. 2007 TDV8 VSE

I am in US. I got them through a retailer on Amazon BuyParts or something like that. I reached out to them and they tried telling me I bought them from another vendor PartsCart or some BS soo replied and said “no I got them through you here is a copy of the invoice with your company on it”. So we will see if they honor something.

But on the other hand I have a working used OEM so I’ll go back to that before paying for anything...so that’s why there is the question about the fitting 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC
