265/60/R18 BF Goodrich All Terrains?

Hi,

I’ve a 2003 HSE on 18” alloys. I want to fit BF Goodrich All Terrains on them as I do some greenlaning etc and I’ve had them before on a defender and a Series III and rate them highly.

Size wise, I’m looking to fill the arches a bit more, but not wanting them to rub or have to modify bodywork at all.

Will 265/60/R18’s in this tyre fit ok?

Anyone running this size have any thoughts or issues?

Cheers,

Fish.

Gday Fish
I have 265/60/18s Cooper AT3s on my 2008 L322.

It raises the car due to increased side wall but fits no worries. Here’s a pic of mine.

No worries and thanks. Thought I’d put up another pic of green laning Oz style. 😁

They look great 👍
Are they the compomative PD1881 wheels ?

Strangely I was thinking of putting a a set of these on a 2012 but with 265 65 18 BFG AT as I have a new set of tires already onto no6 Range Rover

Everyone needs a hobby

Yes, Compos are about the only 18” wheel to fit the 3.6 tdv8. They are fairly expensive in Oz. I bought these 2nd hand with the Coopers already fitted. These Coopers would not be my choice. ______________________________

I have 265/60-18 Yokohama Geolander AT-S on the same Compomotive rims.

They fit nicely, even the spare ...

Looks good on the facelift 3.6. Do you have the original calipers fitted? I wasn’t sure the Compos fitted with the bigger brakes on the facelift. ______________________________

It was the 5.0 & 4.4 Diesel that had the 6-pot Brembo brakes. These are too large for the Compomotive rim.

The 3.6 tdv8 (such as mine) 'made do' with the sliding caliper á la Disco 4 (the disc is actually the same as the 4-pot Brembo setup fitted to the 4.2 SC) ... Regards,
Mick
