Is the upper glovebox supposed to open by it self when the button is pushed? Mine's only released, and you have to pull/hold it down.
The lower glovebox seem to go too far down, and as far as I can see, there's a plastic tab that's broken, which should probably have stopped it half way. Is this tab replacable, or a molded part of the whole glove box cover?

The upper glove box does need holding down and springs back up when released.
The lower does have soft opening as it uses a gear arrangement. Maybe that is broken. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal
