had a play tonight with the rear entertainment system and got the PlayStation working. I'll have a look at the DVD player another time. the sat nav drive was disconnected so powered that up. is there any point getting a disc or are they massively out of date?

Firstly be careful it doesn't drain your battery overnight -- probably why it was disconnected!

You can get update discs -- you may want to consider updating the unit.

If it has a DVD symbol on the front it is the most up to date unit you can fit -- disc updates available

If it doesn't have the DVD symbol it's a CD, again disc updates available, but the system is older, slower etc

If it's the Denso system it's likely that the latest disc is 2018 (I think). There are some available on the web which are pirated copies but they are not only subject to copyright but are usually locked into Spanish or Polish for some reason, so the reviews state. May all be hogwash but I wouldn't risk it.
This site offers OEM discs at very low prices or so they say. They state they are original discs with 2 years warranty but then they would, wouldn't they.

I did wonder about battery draining but will soon see in the morning.

had a bit of spare time today at work so dropped it on the lift to do a visual inspection underneath!




pleased to report the only fault is the rear flexi brake hoses are a tad corroded so these have been ordered for the morning,
one of the bonnet stays were broke so a pair of new ones have been fitted.

so I didn't get the service done lol as wife had other plans so put some miles on here. not entirely sure the torque convertor is happy as keep getting a horrible drone/vibration around 2.5k revs and constant at 70 so will try and look at it tomorrow.

yes mate I own a little garage. I have 2 that's the big lift a 4 tonne one.

so tonight I left her like this! back tomorrow to finish.
